After the announcement of a return to the big screen, Daniel Radcliffe gave an interview to the  Telegraph . The opportunity for the boy wizard became the great return on his career and his defeats. Including those related to his addiction to alcohol.

Ah, if he could make it disappear with a wand that addiction to alcohol . In 2011, the actor with azure eyes had already told the magazine GQ about his old demons. He had confessed to having sunk in alcohol at the age of 18 years because of the celebrity . The actor spent days alone in his apartment to drink to leave his daily life: "I lived in fear of meeting people, I wondered what I would say to them what I was going to do with them, so I preferred to stay in my apartment for days by drinking alone " . Sometimes even the actor to get drunk on the set of Harry Potter . Sober for three years now, Daniel Radcliffe continues to fight every day to overcome his addiction.

"I'm the kind of person who changes dramatically when she drinks. The alcohol made me follow the wrong direction, he made me run to my loss " , he explained. The actor also admitted to being "unable to remember" moments when he was drunk. An indication which gives an idea of the amount of alcohol that the old magician could ingest . The young man of 27 years yet recognizes that sobriety is not easy and it's a struggle everyday . He sometimes has to leave a bar or restaurant because  the urge to drink obsessed . The fear of falling into the vicious cycle of alcoholism scares the actor has now stopped drinking. "I'm much more settled mentally and I feel happy now" , he eventually concluded. 

BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Radcliffe is the only son of Alan George Radcliffe and Marcia Jeannine Gresham. The one we nicknamed Dan was educated at independent schools for boys, the Sussex House School. In 1999, he made his acting debut in a TV movie by incarnating the character of David Copperfield child, and two years later, in 2001, cinema in "The Tailor of Panama" by John Boorman.

It was in 2001 that his career also flip when he plays for the first time the role of Harry Potter, at the age of only 11 years. The eight-part saga will follow throughout his adolescence.
